Worm Composting

Instructions

Worm Composting

Composting is a natural process in which organic matter decomposes into a dark nutrient-rich soil.  Worm composting simply uses the worms to speed up the process. It’s a simple, clean, pollution-free, odorless way to recycle your food scraps into a usable product, right in your own home or in the classroom.

We have two types of Worm Composting Bins. The Huskie Worm Factory (left) and the Huskie Can-O-Worms (right). The Worm Factory, our smaller model, is pefect for use in kitchens while the larger Can-O-Worms works well in classrooms and company lunch rooms.

Both models have a spigot at the bottom to collect the nutrient-rich worm tea to use in office or outdoor plants. For detailed instructions, please click on "instructions" on the left.
